Why Sustainability?

Our corporate vision is to play a key role in the global food solution while building long-term value for all our stakeholders. To achieve this, PotashCorp must operate with an eye to how our strategies, actions and decisions impact the future of our business, the communities where we operate and the people associated with both.

We manage our resources and our stakeholder relationships with a long-term view, holding ourselves to the highest standards of transparency, integrity and accountability. By following sustainable business practices, we gain operating efficiencies, improve management performance, increase the positive impact of our operations and mitigate risks that could prevent us from accomplishing our goals.

We work according to our Core Values and related policies, and our initiatives in economic, social and environmental sustainability help us fulfill our responsibilities to this generation of stakeholders and those that follow.
