Training

Training in Human Rights

PotashCorp has taken steps to ensure all employees are aware of and understand its values and commitments to human rights. Every year, all employees are asked to confirm in writing that they have read the PotashCorp Core Values and Code of Conduct, and will comply with the provisions of each of its policies. In 2007, a total of 4,245 PotashCorp employees (85 percent of the workforce) took the Core Values and Code of Conduct training module.

Training of Security Personnel

Some PotashCorp security personnel are direct employees, and others are contract employees. Contract security firms provide their employees with security training, while security training for PotashCorp employees is provided by the company or an outside security firm. The type of training provided is reviewed during a facility's annual security audit.
