At PotashCorp, safety is a top priority and we are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, contractors and others at our sites. Guided by our Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Committee and by the elements outlined in our core values and SHE Manual, our program priorities include safety leadership training, serious injury and fatality prevention, pre-job hazard assessments and focused work pausing.
To ensure our safety program remains best-in-class we continue to increase our efforts to prevent serious injuries and fatalities.
Our SHE Manual details reporting requirements for all safety-related events. We comply with the International Labor Organization’s Code of Practice on Recording and Notification of Occupational Accidents and Diseases, along with all reporting and notification requirements in the United States, Canada and Trinidad.

The health and well-being of our employee’s is important to PotashCorp and we try to utilize innovative and effective means to engage and inspire our employees and their families to adopt and sustain healthy living practices. We have enhanced our corporate health and wellness program, including focusing on best practices, introduced a corporate steering committee and increased education through our health and wellness website.
