Potash OperationsThe company's potash operations include the mining and production of potash, which is predominantly used as fertilizer. In 2006, the company produced 7.0 million tonnes, down from 8.8 million tonnes in 2005 due to extended price negotiations with buyers in China and India. The 2006 annual potash capacity was approximately 12.9 million tonnes KCl. |
