Workforce Characteristics

At the end of 2006, PotashCorp employed 4,871 people, 1,692 of them salaried and 3,179 hourly-paid. In addition, 749 contract employees worked for the company.

The workforce is located mainly in the US, Canada, Trinidad and Brazil. See the Organizational Profile section for country breakdown. Almost 60 percent are skilled or semi-skilled craft workers or trades people.
