PotashCorp Receives Two Awards for Outstanding Investor Relations

Filed under:

IR Magazine Canada presented PotashCorp two investor relations awards at its annual awards ceremony on February 17. PotashCorp won in both categories for which it was nominated in the competition: “Best Investor Relations Website” and “Best Investor Relations in the US Market by a Canadian Company”.

IR Magazine selects its winners after conducting an extensive independent survey that includes one-on-one interviews with more than 250 analysts and investors. This research stands as a key benchmark for investor relations performance in Canada.

"At PotashCorp, we focus intently on living our core values, including being accessible, accountable and transparent to our stakeholders," said Denita Stann, Senior Director, Investor Relations at PotashCorp. "We appreciate the affirmation that we are doing the right things and providing the right information to our shareholders, the owners of our company."

The awards come on the heels of several honours PotashCorp received from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in December, including the “Overall Award of Excellence for Corporate Reporting”.

PotashCorp received the "Best Annual Report" award from IR Magazine Canada in 2009.

The IR Magazine awards competition is open to any company that is listed on a stock exchange and the IR Magazine Canada Awards are annually held. Sponsors for this year's awards included the Globe and Mail and TMX Group (Toronto Stock Exchange and Toronto Venture Exchange). Detailed results from the survey are released as the Investor Perception Study, Canada 2010, which is available from thecrossbordergroup.com.
