Potassium

Potassium contributes to overall plant vitality, and helps plants fight stress and disease. It is associated with water use and conservation, and moves nutrients and sugars through the plant.

This nutrient is salts evaporated from seawater, and is mined from deposits in the earth. It can be produced in granular, course or soluble form and used for fertilizer.

Common potassium fertilizers are potassium chloride (0-0-60), potassium sulfate (0-0-50) and potassium nitrate (13-0-44).
