Rocanville, SK - PotashCorp Rocanville today announced a $500,000 commitment to support the Moosomin and District Integrated Health Care Facility.
In a presentation made at a community luncheon in Moosomin, PotashCorp Rocanville's General Manager, Steve Fortney announced a $250,000 donation to the health care facility.
PotashCorp also announced an additional matching gift campaign in partnership with the Moosomin & District Health Care Foundation. PotashCorp will match every dollar given by individuals and businesses in 2008, to a maximum of $250,000.
"The matching gift campaign is a powerful way to partner with our community," said Steve Fortney. "We hope everyone will join us to help raise money for the Moosomin and District Integrated Health Care Facility. This $250,000 donation, and a matching amount of $250,000 from the community, will help the foundation raise a total of $750,000."
PotashCorp is the world's largest fertilizer enterprise, producing the 3 primary plant nutrients. The Saskatoon-headquartered company has several potash operations throughout Saskatchewan. PotashCorp employs more than 1,500 people in the province, including almost 375 who work at Rocanville, 25 minutes from Moosomin.
