Potash is the nutrient with the greatest growth potential and, with 22 percent of the world’s capacity and 75 percent of its unused capacity, we are well positioned to capitalize on the expected long-term rise in global demand.

We complement our potash business with focused nitrogen and phosphate strategies and offshore potash investments that improve our global reach. In Trinidad, our large facility, our long-term, lower-cost gas contracts and our strategic location combine to help us meet the rising demand for nitrogen in the US, the world’s largest nitrogen importer. Our superior-quality phosphate rock gives us the flexibility to vary our production among fertilizer, animal feed and industrial products to capture the greatest gross margin while minimizing volatility.
