CBC Show Takes Lighthearted Look at Potash Mining
See how low Rick Mercer will go for a joke. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporations' Mercer, star of the popular weekly television program Rick Mercer Report, traveled 3,000 feet beneath the surface of the Earth recently to learn about the Allan potash mine.
Once there, Allan General Manager Stewart Brown took Mercer through the mine and explained why potash is one of the primary engines of Saskatchewan's booming economy.
