Service Window
The Service Window, the password-protected customer service area of PotashCorp’s main website, gives you the peace of mind that comes with being able to check your order and shipment status at any time. You can access the Service Window in the For Our Customers section at www.potashcorp.com once you’ve received a secure user ID and password.

To take advantage of this invaluable resource, simply contact your Customer Service Representative at 1-800-654-4514 and you will be issued a user ID and password. That’s all you need to be able to view shipment histories, order position, car status, in-transit rail shipment information, shipping documents and customized reports, as each pertains to your account(s).


Railcars
Access to such real-time information can let you know when to expect a shipment so you can staff up or give customers a heads-up to pick up a product they ordered through you.

Just click on Car Tracings, for instance, to learn that a product due to ship out tomorrow actually went out today, and when you can expect it to arrive at your facility. We collect car location messages from carriers for all railcars in their fleets, and all shipments. We use these to update the railcar tracings every hour.

Other ways to make the most out of the resources at our Service Window are numerous. Just ask one junior accountant with Southern States Cooperative in Richmond, Virginia.

"It’s very handy to be able to go out on the web and get a copy of an invoice," she said."You can print out your copy and you’ve got it, no waiting for a returned e-mail, phone call or fax.


Service Window
Start at the Order Position page (top) to search the records of your transactions via a variety of criteria, including the shipping date, mode of transportation and kind of product. Car Tracing (left) is available in a few mouse clicks, at any time of day or night. Scheduling and planning are simplified when you are armed with detailed information about rail shipment status.
"It’s my job to keep track of invoices," she explained. "I use the website to look at what’s due on the account, what’s been paid on the account, and to ensure everything gets out the door the way it is supposed to.

"I’m crazy about the website, it’s very helpful. Another thing I like is that I don’t need to worry about the time of day, or what part of the country I’m dealing with. The computer doesn’t care what time zone you are in."

We’re providing these resources so our customers can work even smarter, and we won’t even take the credit.
