SAFE FEED/SAFE FOOD PROGRAM

Takes CENTER STAGE

Website
The Quality Control section of our website has always provided a wealth of information about our products, but now it is also the place to hear what industry experts are saying about the Animal Feed Industry Association’s (AFIA) Safe Feed/Safe Food program.

"Dedicating a space on our revamped feed website to the Safe Feed/Safe Food program shows PotashCorp’s continuing support of this initiative," said Rhonda Speiss, Manager of Public Relations. "While all of our North American feed plants earned the Safe Feed/Safe Food certification in December of 2005, we believe that educating customers and consumers about this worthwhile industry-wide effort is important as well."

On this site, you will hear several experts discuss the Safe Feed/Safe Food program, including Dr. Henry Turlington, former Chairman of the AFIA’s Quality Council, Joel Newman, President and CEO of the AFIA, and David Taylor, a Safe Feed/Safe Food instructor. We’ve traveled around the United States to garner interviews with these individuals to learn what they think Safe Feed/Safe Food means to the animal feed industry, and consumers, too.

Maps
Our Markets Map feature gives you a global perspective on the many uses of our products. By collecting information from around the world, we provide you with the facts and figures of who produces and who uses nitrogen, phosphate and potash. You'll find the map feature on the Market Research page, under At Your Service.
We’ve also tapped several resources here at home. You can hear what our in-house feed division experts ? Paul DeKok, General Manager, Mark Etienne, Vice President, and Dr. Steve Auman, Director of Business Development ? have to say about earning Safe Feed/Safe Food certification for all of our North American feed plants and about other Safe Feed/Safe Food topics as well.
