Patience Lake
At PotashCorp we pride ourselved in making safety 'Priority One.' We are continuously striving to lower our incident rates through the establishment of annual health and safety performance goals within all levels of the organization. We believe that our continued success depends on our employees maintaining a positive attitude towards health and safety through development of an internal responsibility model. This model requires every employee to be responsible not only for their own safety but for that of their fellow workers. We are proud of our accomplishments at PotashCorp as we continue to rank at the top of our industry year after year.

Environment:
The Patience Lake operation uses a process which produces no waste products. As part of a policy to maintain wildlife habitat, two wetlands on the Patience Lake property that are heavily used by waterfowl are being preserved. These wetlands have been enrolled in the 'Acres for Wildlife' program operated by the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation.
