Lima
The largest producer of nitrogen chemical and fertilizer products in Ohio, the Lima plant produces ammonia, urea, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate and nitrogen solutions for industrial and agricultural use. It has an annual capacity of 648,000 tons of ammonia, 362,660 tons of urea, 110,231 tons of nitric acid and 250,224 tons of nitrogen solutions. It has 13 employees.

Lima is ISO 9000:2000 and 14001 certified.

Transportation:
Rail – Norfolk Southern interchanges six days a week and CSX six days a week. Grand Trunk cars are interchanged through the Norfolk Southern. Rail Serve provides interchange and switching service to the plant seven days a week. There is a certified rail scale, and Rescar provides rail car repair services within the rail complex.

Road – Many truck loading stations are available, and all types of trucks (meeting DOT regulations) are accommodated. All bulk trucks are loaded on certified scales.

Loading hours are 24 hours a day, except: urea bulk requires prior notice for weekend loading; urea bags are loaded from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday. In normal business season, the back gate is open from 10:30 p.m. Sunday for 24-hour-per-day service until 10 p.m. Friday. Holidays will alter scheduled hours. Special loading arrangements are made for weekends.
