Lanigan
At PotashCorp we pride ourselved in making safety 'Priority One.' We are continuously striving to lower our incident rates through the establishment of annual health and safety performance goals within all levels of the organization. We believe that our continued success depends on our employees maintaining a positive attitude towards health and safety through development of an internal responsibility model. This model requires every employee to be responsible not only for their own safety but for that of their fellow workers. We are proud of our accomplishments at PotashCorp as we continue to rank at the top of our industry year after year.

Environment:
As part of PotashCorp's policy to maintain or create wildlife habitat where opportunities exist, about 800 hectares (2,000 acres) of poor quality land on the Lanigan property - acres that were in cultivation prior to acquisition by PotashCorp - have been converted to permanent grasslands. Over 5,000 trees and shrubs have been planted and a waterfowl park is being created by developing a wetland area in front of the mine offices.
