At PotashCorp we pride ourselved in making safety 'Priority One.' We are continuously striving to lower our incident rates through the establishment of annual health and safety performance goals within all levels of the organization. We believe that our continued success depends on our employees maintaining a positive attitude towards health and safety through development of an internal responsibility model. This model requires every employee to be responsible not only for their own safety but for that of their fellow workers. We are proud of our accomplishments at PotashCorp as we continue to rank at the top of our industry year after year.
Environment:
As part of PotashCorps policy to maintain or create wildlife habitat where opportunities exist, about 240 hectares (600 acres) of land owned by Cory is being maintained in its natural condition. In addition, over 2,000 trees have been planted to create habitat and improve the appearance of the site. The Cory operation, like all of the Saskatchewan operations of PotashCorp, is a zero discharge facility.
