Allan
At PotashCorp we pride ourselves in making safety Priority One. We are continuously striving to lower our incident rates by establishing annual health and safety performance goals at all levels of the organization. Our ability to achieve these goals depends on an internal responsibility model that engages our employees on issues of health and safety. Our Behavior Accident Prevention Process (BAPP)®, for example, requires employees to work together to reduce at-risk behaviors. Work permits, contractor safety performance and employee cultural engagement are also vital components to a successful safety process.

We are proud of our accomplishments at PotashCorp as we continue to rank at the top of our industry in the area of safety year after year.

Environment:
Each of PotashCorp's potash operations has a policy to maintain or create wildlife habitat on its lands where opportunities exist. Nesting islands have been placed in wetlands on the Allan property and the Allan facility also maintains a tree planting program. Like all of the Saskatchewan operations of PotashCorp, the Allan facility is a zero discharge facility.
