Garth W. Moore President, PCS Potash
|
In the potash industry for 34 years and with PotashCorp for 25, Garth Moore has gained an appreciation for his industry from the ground up. Today, as President of PCS Potash, he draws upon that experience to direct all of the company's potash mining operations.
Mr. Moore has held the position of President, PCS Potash since 1997. After joining the company in 1982, he spent much of his early career in senior operations roles, including time as General Manager at both the Rocanville and Lanigan facilities. Prior to his appointment as President, PCS Potash, Mr. Moore was Senior Vice President of Technical Services for the company.
Before joining PotashCorp, Mr. Moore held increasingly senior management positions with Noranda, Central Canada Potash, and International Minerals and Chemicals Corporation.
Mr. Moore graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1970, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering. He is a director of the Saskatchewan Mining Association, the Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Corporation, the Arab Potash Company and the Saskatchewan Potash Producers Association.
