Stephen F. Dowdle Senior Vice President, Fertilizer Sales, PCS Sales

Stephen Dowdle has acquired his knowledge of agriculture and the fertilizer industry two ways: from below the ground and on the ground. As PotashCorp's Senior Vice President, Fertilizer Sales, he brings a depth of knowledge in soil microbiology and agronomy as well as frontline experience working with international and domestic customers.
Mr. Dowdle joined PotashCorp in 1999 as Vice President, International Fertilizer Sales, and one year later was promoted to Vice President, Fertilizer Sales. Effective January 1, 2006, he was named Senior Vice President, Fertilizer Sales, responsible for all domestic and international fertilizer transactions. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Phosphate Chemicals Export Association (PhosChem) and Sinofert Holdings Ltd. (Sinofert).
Mr. Dowdle came to PotashCorp with extensive international experience, having served for 10 years as Vice President and Managing Director for Canpotex (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and for four years as Director, China Programs, for the Potash & Phosphate Institute.
Mr. Dowdle earned his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Agronomy and Soil Science from the University of Hawaii. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Brown University.
