Denis A. Sirois Vice President and Corporate Controller
|
Mr. Sirois has had a long history with PotashCorp, joining the corporation in 1978. He was the General Accountant for PCS Mining until 1983, when he became Chief Accountant for PCS Potash Cory Division, a position he held until 1987. He then took on the role of Controller for PCS Inc. and with a promotion in 1997, added Vice President to his title.
As Vice President and Corporate Controller, Mr. Sirois is responsible
for preparation of financial statements, compliance with reporting
requirements to shareholders, internal control implementation, audit
coordination, reporting to the Audit Committee and the accounting
policies and procedures.
Mr. Sirois was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He attended the University of Saskatchewan, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1977. From 1977-1978, he was employed at the Bank of Montreal in Thompson and Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 1983, he attained his Certified Management Accountant designation.
Mr. Sirois and his wife Terry have four children.
