Safety is PotashCorp’s number one priority. We are committed to providing a healthy and safe work environment for employees, contractors, and all others at our sites to help meet our company-wide goal of achieving no harm to people.
We strive to impart to employees a strong personal safety ethic that is rooted in awareness, focused on prevention and motivated by concern for human life.
Led by the Senior Safety Leadership Team and guided by principles outlined in our Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manual, the elements of our safety program include:

Safety Performance Reporting
Our SHE management system prescribes reporting requirements for all safety-related events. We comply with the International Labor Organization’s Code of Practice on Recording and Notification of Occupational Accidents and Diseases. We also follow reporting and notification requirements in the United States, Canada and Trinidad.
