














As Vice President, Investor and Public Relations, Denita Stann is responsible for external communications with many of PotashCorp’s key stakeholders. She manages the company’s investor relations, media, community and public affairs, and sustainability programs.
Ms. Stann joined PotashCorp in 2006 as Manager, Sustainability and in 2007 was named Director, Investor Relations. In 2009, she was promoted to Senior Director, Investor Relations, and she assumed her current responsibilities in 2011.
Before joining PotashCorp, she spent most of her career in the mining industry. As a member of the senior management team at Agrium’s Saskatchewan potash operations, Ms. Stann oversaw the finance, information technology, purchasing and materials management departments. In previous jobs, she had been Manager, Finance with Areva Resources Canada (the uranium arm of Areva, a global nuclear and renewable energy company), and had served mining clients of PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) in Sydney, Australia.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and has earned her Canadian designation as a Chartered Accountant and her US designation as a Certified Public Accountant. She serves as treasurer on the board of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.
