Michael Hogan was appointed President, PCS Potash on January 1, 2013 after 23 years with PotashCorp, most recently as Senior Vice President, PCS Potash.
Mr. Hogan joined PotashCorp in 1989 as Senior Mine Engineer at Allan Division and was Mine Maintenance General Foreman there when he moved to Lanigan Division as Mine Operations Superintendent and then Mine General Superintendent. He became General Manager at Lanigan in 2001, and then in 2004 shifted to the same position at New Brunswick Division.
In 2007, he took on an assignment as General Manager at Arab Potash Company in Jordan, which is 28 percent owned by PotashCorp. He returned to Saskatoon in 2010 as Vice President, Potash Operations.
A Queen's University graduate in mining engineering, Mr. Hogan is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists and a director of the Saskatchewan Mining Association, Saskatchewan Potash Producers Association and the International Minerals Innovation Institute.
