Stephen F. Dowdle
Stephen Dowdle brings a depth of knowledge in soil microbiology and agronomy plus frontline experience with international and domestic customers to his position as PotashCorp’s Senior Vice President, Fertilizer Sales.
He joined the company in 1999 as Vice President, International Fertilizer Sales, and one year later was promoted to Vice President, Fertilizer Sales. He began his current position in 2006, with responsibility for all domestic and international fertilizer transactions. He is on the board of the Phosphate Chemicals Export Association (PhosChem) and Sinofert Holdings Ltd. (Sinofert).
Mr. Dowdle gained extensive international experience during 10 years as Vice President and Managing Director for Canpotex (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., and four years as Director, China Programs, for the Potash & Phosphate Institute.
He has a PhD in Agronomy and Soil Science from the University of Hawaii, and a BA in Anthropology from Brown University.
