Standard, fine standard and granular grades of potash are used in fertilizer and agricultural products.


Approximately 95 percent of product is shipped by rail to PotashCorp's terminal at the Port of Saint John for export. Remaining product is shipped by truck or rail to domestic customers.


PotashCorp has potash warehouses and a ship loading terminal in the Port of Saint John.

* In November 2015, the Penobsquis, New Brusnwick mine was permanently closed. In January 2016, the company announced the indefinite suspension of its Picadilly, New Brunswick potash operations.
