Fertilizers are used in agriculture. Phosphate products are used for food and technical applications.
Transportation
Rail
The Canadian National/Illinois Central Railroad main line runs through the site, with spurs serving loading areas. Rail scales and tank car cleaning facilities are available. Service hours are determined by the railroad.
Road
All types of trucks can be accommodated; trucks can be loaded 24 hours a day,7 days a week.
Pipeline
Nitric acid is available through a dedicated pipeline.
Waterways
Facility includes a 997-foot (304-meter) long dock. Terminal staff and services are available. A public bulk wharf and terminal are available from Kinder Morgan or from Burnside Terminal, 10 miles (16 km) south.
